"For this year’s London Design Festival, Mint presents \'HomeWorks\': a selection of over 40 upcoming and established designers specially chosen for their individual and experimental craft touch. HomeWorks will showcase their latest pieces which reinvent or transform everyday objects into captivating and provocative designs.

To complement the show, Mint has commissioned 13 emerging talents to rework 13 identical vintage chairs, originally belonging to a 1950s Danish shipyard canteen. Given a free reign, these young artists have individually created an absolutely unique and inspiring series, which dissect and invert traditional approaches resulting in unpredictable objects of beauty."
